John Aikens

John Aikens manages Evozyne’s daily operations developing and overseeing business processes, resource logistics, and communications. Prior to joining Evozyne, John built companies in biotechnology and materials science. He has had management roles with Nanophase Technologies and DeCode Genomics. He founded Lybradyn and Proterro, biotechnology businesses developing bioprocesses and sustainable energy products respectively. John completed postdoctoral studies in biochemistry and biophysics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California, Irvine.
