Evozyne, Inc. (“Evozyne” “we” or “us”) respects the privacy of information relating to individuals and values the confidence of its employees, customers, vendors and partners.

This Privacy Policy sets forth Evozyne’s practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personally identifiable information that you may provide through your use of evozyne.com, including through evozyne.com mobile applications and other websites that Evozyne controls (individually, a “Site” and collectively, the “Sites”). Please read this entire Privacy Policy before using this Site or submitting personally identifiable information to Evozyne through this Site.

By using this Site and whenever you submit information through this Site to Evozyne, you agree with the terms of Evozyne’ Privacy Policy written below.

Evozyne, Inc., with offices in the United States, is responsible for processing your personally identifiable information.

Personally Identifiable Information

Evozyne only collects personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, job title, industry segment, telephone number and email address, when you voluntarily submit this information to Evozyne.

Cookies and Other Non-Personally Identifiable Information

We may sometimes collect information about your usage of Evozyne’s Site through cookies and similar technology. There are two types of cookies: session cookies (non-persistent cookies) and persistent cookies. Session cookies temporarily store non-personally identifiable information about your visit to Evozyne’s Site in your computer’s memory. The cookie is deleted as soon as you close your browser. Persistent or permanent cookies will uniquely identify your browser and will permanently save in your computer’s memory information requested by the Site.

With cookies, the information that we collect and share is anonymous and not personally identifiable. It does not contain your name, address, telephone number, or email address.

We may also track the total number of visitors to the Site, the number of visitors to each page of the Site, and the domain names of visitors’ Internet service providers. We may ask users that have opted to receive information to complete a survey. No personally identifiable information is gathered in any of these processes.

We may use your personally identifiable information to:

  • communicate with you about Evozyne’s business;
  • provide publications, products and services you have requested;
  • invite you to, and register you for, events;
  • add you to mailing lists and send you marketing materials we believe will be of interest to you;
  • process and respond to requests, enquiries and complaints; and
  • for other purposes and operations which are reasonably related, such as administering, monitoring and improving this Site, and Evozyne’s products and services.

Evozyne does not sell any of your personally identifiable information for marketing or advertising purposes.

Cookies allow us to bring you the content and features likely to be of greatest interest to you based on your previous activities on Evozyne’s Site. We use other non-personally identifiable information, including information obtained through surveys, to improve this Site.

Storage and Transfer of Information

Evozyne may store personally identifiable data collected via this Site in an electronic database. In addition, personally identifiable data collected through the “Contact” Evozyne function on this Site may be stored by Evozyne at a CRM such as salesforce.com (or similar), while personally identifiable data collected through Evozyne’s virtual store may be stored by Evozyne at Evozyne’s virtual hosting site. Evozyne may also exchange such data with you over the internet or over intranet systems for the purposes of processing the data, mailing information to you in response to a request, or otherwise carrying out the services described above. We may also release your personally identifiable data in response to a court order, subpoena, search warrant, or applicable law or regulation. Your information may be accessed by third-party service providers who will process that information solely for Evozyne’s benefit and in accordance with Evozyne’s instructions.

We use measures that are appropriate to protect your personally identifiable information against unauthorized access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorized or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, and all Evozyne’s employees and any third-parties that process your personally identifiable information on Evozyne’s behalf are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your information.

While Evozyne makes every reasonable effort to protect the personally identifiable data collected through its Site, please be aware that there is always some risk involved when submitting data over the Internet. We cannot guarantee that Evozyne’s Site is 100% safe from illegal tampering or “hacking.”

Storage Period

We retain information that is collected through this Site for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was provided, or as otherwise required for Evozyne’s legitimate business purposes. Your information may be retained for longer periods if there are valid legal grounds, for example if required by law or court order or to defend or pursue legal claims.

Legal Basis for Processing Your Personally identifiable information

The majority of the personally identifiable information collected by Evozyne is provided by you voluntarily through your use of www.evozyne.com, for example, when you complete a request on its “Contact” page and through a virtual store if you place an order for Evozyne’s products, and therefore is collected with your permission. The remaining personally identifiable information is collected for Evozyne’s legitimate business purposes, for example to monitor and improve the quality of Evozyne’s Site and Evozyne’s services, and to protect and defend Evozyne’s rights, property or safety or that of Evozyne’s customers and other users of the Site.

You have several rights regarding the processing of your personally identifiable information by Evozyne. Subject to any statutory or legal requirements applicable to Evozyne to maintain such personally identifiable information, you may:

  • request access to the personally identifiable information we process about you;
  • request corrections of your personally identifiable information;
  • request erasure or deletion of your personally identifiable information;
  • request restriction or further processing of your personally identifiable information;
  • object to the further processing of your personally identifiable information;
  • withdraw any future consent with future effect.

If at any time you wish to stop receiving emails or other communications from Evozyne, or if you have submitted personally identifiable information through Evozyne’s Site and would like to make any request, objection, or withdrawal as provided above, please notify us at contactus@evozyne.com.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority if you believe that your personally identifiable information has been collected or used in breach of relevant privacy legislation.

As a reminder to you when exchanging emails, any email that you send or receive on your employer’s email system may be the property of your employer. Consequently, your employer may have the ability to review your personally identifiable information sent via email.

Please note that although we attempt to adhere to requests to remove personally identifiable information from Evozyne’s records, it may not be possible to remove all copies depending on the way the information was submitted to us.

Your Web browser can be set to allow you to control whether you will accept cookies, reject cookies, or to notify you each time a cookie is sent to you. If your browser is set to reject cookies, sites like ours that are cookie-enabled will not recognize you when you return to the Site and some Site functionality may be lost.

Links to Third Party Sites

As a convenience to Evozyne’s visitors, Evozyne’s Sites may contain links to other third-party (non-Evozyne) sites that we believe may offer useful information. The privacy policy presented here does not apply to those sites. You should contact these sites directly for information on their privacy policies, confidentiality agreements, and data collection/distribution procedures.

Please note that linked third-party sites may also use cookies. Evozyne cannot control the use of cookies by these third-party sites. In addition, when you link from an Evozyne Site to another website, that site may have the ability to recognize that you have come from an Evozyne Site. If you do not want any other websites to know that you have been on this Site, we recommend that you do not use the links provided in Evozyne’s Site.

Children’s Policy

We are committed to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Evozyne’s Sites are not intended or designed to attract children under the age of 16. We do not collect personally identifiable information from any person we know is a child under the age of 16. If we receive personally identifiable information that we discover was provided by a child under the age of 16, we will promptly destroy such information.

If a change to this Privacy Policy results in a materially different use of your personally identifiable information provided prior to the date of the change, you may opt out of such use by providing notice to Evozyne.
